Crosswalk came about through a sketch and an idea on my iPad, where the intersection of diversity is portrayed by complimentary colors. Although more simplistic than some of the other paintings, the intricacy of the different hues, and application of paint with palette knife, provides depth and movement to the piece. The idea is for you to picture yourself in your journey and in your own crosswalk, and encourage you to continue along your path.
