Through the River a la Monet | Original Painting on Canvas

I have always been a Monet fan, and while living in Paris, had the opportunity to see some of his original paintings at Musée d'Orsay, L'Orangerie and Musée Marmottan Monet. Although a print would have sufficed, I decided to paint my version of one of his paintings that I fell in love with.

Through the River, a la Monet is a 22" x 28" acrylic on canvas painting, ready to hang artwork.

The painting makes use of Monet's painting to help set the scenery and composition, as well as painted in the neoimpressionist style that I continue to develop and gravitate to.

Textured by the layers of paint applied to the canvas, it helps to give it more depth as well as make the imagery pop and contrast as the there are textured areas and flat areas, all with brush, that provide a unique style that is pleasing to the eye.

As this is an original painting, please allow up to 3 business days for the order to be fulfilled and shipped, and then an additional 5 to 10 business days for transportation via UPS or FedEx.
