I was born in Mexico City, and although I was raised in Tokyo, Japan & did my schooling in the USA, I have always been proud to be Mexican. Particularly and because of my mum and how passionate she is and the traditions she taught us, even while living overseas. I fondly recall the danza folklorica Mexicana videos we’d watch and when invited by the Embassy, going to the cultural demonstrations while abroad.
